YKVN is advising VPBank on USD 1.5 billion strategic investment from SMBC

YKVN is advising Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) on the issuance of shares to Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC).

As a strategic investor, SMBC will acquire shares through a private placement which represents 15% of VPBank’s charter capital, valued at USD 1.5 billion.
