YKVN advised ASEAN Infrastructure Fund on restructuring of Trung Nam Krong No Hydroelectric Corporation

YKVN advised the ASEAN Infrastructure Fund on the completed restructuring of Trung Nam Krong No Hydroelectric Corporation. Following the restructuring, the company became a wholly owned subsidiary of Trungnam Group, providing an exit for the Fund and its Vietnamese project lenders.

Trung Nam Krong No Hydroelectric Corporation was established as a joint venture between TRUNGNAM Group and the ASEAN Infrastructure Fund and owns and operates two hydroelectric power plants in the Dak Lak and Lam Dong provinces of Vietnam. The ASEAN Infrastructure Fund, a Japanese-sponsored Southeast Asian energy-focused fund, held a 40% interest in the company following its initial investment in 2018.
