YKVN advised Pharmacity on growth-capital raise from LeapFrog Investments

YKVN advised Pharmacity Pharmacy Joint Stock Company (“Pharmacity”) on its growth-capital raise in a funding round from LeapFrog Investments, a global private equity firm focused on healthcare, financial services and climate solutions.

Pharmacity is Vietnam’s largest modern retail pharmacy chain. Founded in 2011, the company operates a nationwide network of more than 1,100 pharmacies serving almost 19 million loyal customers. The investment will support Pharmacity’s continued expansion across Vietnam and deepen access to quality healthcare products and pharmaceutical services, including in Tier II and III cities.

The transaction marks another significant private-equity investment in Vietnam’s healthcare retail sector. It comes as Pharmacity continues to expand its national footprint, with plans to open a further 500 stores over the next three years.

The YKVN team was led by Partner Vu Dzung, with support from Senior Associates Le Huynh Nhat Minh, Duong Phuong Thanh and Lanh Dang Thu Nga.
