We are hiring | Mid Level – Senior Associate Dispute Resolution

YKVN is looking for a mid-level to senior associate to join its dispute resolution practice to support the litigation / domestic arbitration team in Hanoi and the international arbitration team in Singapore.

The litigation / domestic arbitration team in Hanoi won national recognition for its representation of Grab in the Vinasun litigation, the longest civil trial in Vietnamese history.

The international arbitration team in Singapore is well recognized internationally for its role in recent years in the most complex and high value Vietnam related international arbitrations.

Profile

The successful candidate must be a Vietnamese qualified lawyer with at least 4 years of practice post-qualification. A foreign law degree is a plus.

The candidate must also have an in-depth and thorough understanding of Vietnamese laws and Vietnamese litigation as well as excellent legal research and writing skills.

Spoken and written fluency in English is also a must as international arbitration work involves daily interaction with international arbitration firms and lawyers. A proven ability to work effectively as part of teams staffed from several offices and in a bilingual environment is important.

The successful candidate can be based in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. Singapore is also an option and frequent travels between Vietnam and Singapore can be expected after business activities return to normal.
