Congratulations to HCMULaw and K.U.T Team, Winner @ Vietnam Moot Court 2020

YKVN warmly congratulates Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and K.U.T team for winning the 2020 national Vietnamese Moot Court Competition, and all other teams for their participation.

The national Vietnamese Moot Court Competition (or “VMOOT”) is an important part of YKVN’s CSR initiatives throughout the years.

Seeking to develop legal expertise and community in Vietnam and in the region, YKVN has been an active supporter of VMOOT since its inception.

This year, 12 teams of students from law faculties and law universities nationwide were selected for the national round of the annual VMOOT and the final round was organized on November 30, 2020 at the campus of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law with RED team from Hanoi Law University and K.U.T team from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law.

After rounds of exciting arguments, the winner, K.U.T team, was revealed.

YKVN participated in developing the moot prompts and sending judges to the competition. Mr. Truong Nhat Quang, YKVN’s Managing Partner was again the Chairman of the Arbitral Tribunal in the final round of VMOOT.

YKVN also offers internships for the winning team.

About Vietnamese Moot Court Competition

VMOOT is the first and only national moot court competition to be held in Vietnamese. Launched in 2017, VMOOT has created an arena for law students to sharpen their legal arguments, legal analysis and enhance the legal problem-solving skills.

The program has drawn great attention to students at all law schools and faculties of law in Vietnam.
