China Business Law Journal Honors YKVN for Landmark LNG-to-Power Deal (Nhon Trach 3 and Nhon Trach 4)

We are honored to announce that China Business Law Journal has selected the financing of Nhon Trach 3 and Nhon Trach 4—Vietnam’s first LNG-to-power project—as a 2024 Deal of the Year in the Projects category.

Acting as lead counsel together with Pinsent Masons, YKVN advised PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power) on both the international and domestic tranches for this landmark project. The transaction represents a critical step in Vietnam’s energy-transition roadmap and sets a template for future LNG-to-power developments.
