YKVN Recognized for Exemplary M&A Advisory Work @ the 17th Vietnam M&A Forum 2025

YKVN is honored to once again be recognized for exemplary M&A advisory work at the 17th Vietnam M&A Forum, held on 9 December 2025.
Under the theme “New Position, New Momentum,” the forum recognizes exemplary M&A transactions, leading stakeholders, and advisory firms that played a central role in the most significant deals of the 2024–2025 period.
Partner Nguyen Thu Hang attended the ceremony and represented YKVN at the event.
Among this year’s notable domestic M&A deals highlighted by the Vietnam M&A Forum as the most significant transactions, YKVN advised on four deals:
- SHB’s VND 3,600 billion divestment of its remaining 50% equity interest in SHBFinance to Ayudhya Bank (Krungsri), a member of the MUFG Group;
- SABECO’s acquisition of nearly 38 million shares in Sabibeco through a tender offer;
- United Overseas Australia Ltd (UOA) on its acquisition of a 2,000-square-metre commercial land parcel in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, with a total investment capital of USD 120 million; and
- Golden Gate Group’s acquisition of 100% equity interest in The Coffee House, one of the year’s most notable F&B transactions.
YKVN also advised on two of the Forum’s highlighted IPO activities:
- Techcom Securities (TCBS) on its initial public offering and listing on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) under ticker TCX; and
- HDBank in its issuances of a USD 100 million international green bond tranche to IFC and other international financial institutions.
This recognition reflects YKVN’s continued contribution to Vietnam’s dynamic M&A landscape, including our work on complex, high-value, and cross-border transactions across key sectors of the economy since the firm’s founding.
