Pham Linh Chi is a Senior Associate at YKVN’s Hanoi office and has been with the firm since 2018. Chi focuses on project development and project finance, with particular expertise in renewable energy and LNG projects. Chi also has experience in mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the energy and F&B sectors. She regularly assists clients with a broad range of general corporate matters, including transactions involving State capital divestment, bank mandatory acquisition and bancassurance.

- Advised one of the largest power generation companies in Japan in its potential LNG business in Vietnam;
- Advised PVPower as borrower on the ECA facility provided by foreign lenders in relation to the first LNG power plant in Nhon Trach, Vietnam.
- Advised Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited and its branch in Vietnam in the financing of Tra Vinh 1 Wind Power Plant with the capacity of 48MWp in Tra Vinh Province, Vietnam (as shortlisted for Project Finance Deal of the Year at the IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards in 2023).
- Advised Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation, a Philippine bank, on a term loan of up to US$211,500,000 for the purposes of partially financing the project for construction of BIM 2 and BIM 3 solar energy power plants with the capacity of 300MWp in Ninh Thuan Province, Vietnam;
- Advised Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation, a Philippine bank, on a term loan of up to US$20,700,000 for the purposes of partially financing the project for construction of a solar power plant with the capacity of 30MW in Ninh Thuan Province, Vietnam;
- Advised Export-Import Bank of Thailand on credit facilities for financing two Xuan Tho solar power plant projects with total installed capacity of 99.216MW (2 x 49.608MW) in Phu Yen Province, Vietnam and 50MWp and wind power project located in Gia Lai Province, Vietnam;
- Advised numerous power companies from Singapore, Thailand and Denmark in their acquisition of stake in Vietnamese project companies who develop and operate solar and wind power projects in Vietnam;
- Advised Tran Hong Quan Company as owner in the EPC contract with China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. in relation to Vietnam’s first aluminum electrolysis plant;
- Advised T&T Group as contractor in the Quang Tri airport BOT contract with Quang Tri Province Construction Investment Project Management Board;
- Advised VPBank in its sale of 15% of the charter capital to Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation;
- Advised Vietcombank, VPBank and HDBank on their mandatory acquisition;
- Advised HDBank, MBBank in their bancassurance arrangements with foreign-invested insurance companies.
