YKVN Advised Petrovietnam on Over US$1 Billion Vietcombank Financing

YKVN advised Petrovietnam (“PVN”) on over US$1 billion term loan facilities extended by Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (“Vietcombank”).  

The facilities will finance the development of the Block B gas field (upstream) and the Block B – O Mon gas pipeline (midstream) under the Block B – O Mon gas-to-power project chain.

This financing package is among the largest credit arrangements in Vietnam’s energy sector and supports the country’s largest gas project to date.

The YKVN team was led by Managing Partner Truong Nhat Quang.
