YKVN advised KKR on the US$5.1 billion consortium acquisition of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres with Singtel

YKVN advised KKR as Vietnamese counsel in connection with its consortium with Singtel on the acquisition of the remaining stake in ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) from its founding shareholder ST Telemedia. The transaction involves a total consideration of approximately S$ 6.6 billion (approximately US$ 5.1 billion).

Under the transaction, KKR and Singtel agreed to acquire the remaining stake in STT GDC from ST Telemedia. Upon completion, KKR and Singtel will fully acquire the company, holding 75% and 25% equity interests, respectively. STT GDC is a leading data centre platform with operations across Asia and Europe, providing mission-critical digital infrastructure to global hyperscalers, enterprises, and network providers.

The transaction represents one of the largest data centre platform acquisitions in Asia and reflects continued institutional investment in digital infrastructure assets.
