YKVN advised Lian SGP on its acquisition of a controlling stake in Imexpharm

YKVN advised Lian SGP Holding Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based entity wholly owned by China’s Livzon Pharmaceutical Group Inc., on its acquisition of a controlling stake in Imexpharm Corporation (HoSE: IMP), one of Vietnam’s leading pharmaceutical companies.

The transaction was implemented via a public tender offer, through which Lian SGP acquired a controlling stake in Imexpharm.

According to public reports, the transaction is valued at approximately US$228 million. Lian SGP plans to maintain Imexpharm’s existing business strategy while expanding its portfolio of high-tech pharmaceutical products manufactured under EU-GMP standards.

The YKVN team was led by partners Truong Nhat Quang and Ho Anh Tuyet, with support from senior associate Ha Nguyen Nhat Minh.
